MarginPing Terms of Service
Last updated October 28, 2026. Version 2026-10-28.
MarginPing is not open for signups or payments yet. These Terms apply from the day you create an account or start a free report.
1. Who we are and what this is
MarginPing ("we", "us") is a business operated from Las Vegas, Nevada. You can reach us at [email protected]. MarginPing is a subscription service for resellers. It watches new eBay listings for products you already sell on Amazon, does the Amazon fee math, and sends you an alert on Telegram when a listing clears the profit line you set.
By creating an account, starting a free report, or using MarginPing you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older, use MarginPing only for a business, and be located in the United States. MarginPing is not offered outside the United States.
MarginPing is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., or Telegram. We use their names only to describe what the service does.
2. eBay terms that apply to you
MarginPing shows you eBay listing content through our application. eBay requires us to put the following terms in our agreement with you. They apply to every user.
- You are bound by the eBay API License Agreement, which you can read at https://developer.ebay.com/join/api-license-agreement. You agree to be bound by it, and to follow it in all your use of eBay content shown in MarginPing.
- eBay is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. eBay can enforce the eBay-related terms in this section directly against you.
- The right we give you to see eBay content through MarginPing is a sublicense, and it is revocable at any time. We or eBay can end it at any time, with or without notice.
- You get no programmatic access to any eBay API through MarginPing. You cannot call, script, or control any eBay API through our service, and we do not give you any API keys.
- Every call to eBay is made by us, through our own application keys. Your use counts toward our shared limits. We do not share our keys with you or anyone else.
- You will not collect, store, or share any eBay user's user ID, username, or other personal information from eBay content shown in MarginPing.
- You will delete eBay content you got through MarginPing when we or eBay ask.
You also agree not to use eBay content to train algorithms or run machine learning.
3. Your Amazon data and the optional Amazon connection
You do not have to connect Amazon to use MarginPing. You can add your products by uploading reports you download yourself from your Amazon Seller Central account (the All Listings Report and, if you choose, the Fee Preview Report), or a spreadsheet you make. You confirm that you are allowed to share that data with us. We use it only to run MarginPing for your account. Prices and fees from an upload are as of the day you upload them and do not update on their own, so alerts based on them say so, and you should upload fresh reports regularly. We never use another seller's Amazon account to get Amazon data for you, and we do not read Amazon's website for you.
If you want live prices and fees instead, you can connect your Amazon seller account through Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API) authorization screen. Connecting is optional. You confirm you are allowed to authorize access to that account and that you will follow your own agreements with Amazon. You authorize MarginPing to read data from your seller account: your listings, catalog data for your products, pricing and offers, and fee estimates. The access is read-only. We cannot change your listings, prices, or orders, and we cannot spend money from your account.
You can revoke our access at any time, in two ways. You can disconnect Amazon from the MarginPing dashboard, or you can remove MarginPing from your authorized apps in Seller Central. When you revoke, we stop calling Amazon for your account, delete your stored Amazon tokens right away, and delete the Amazon prices, fees, offers, and rank data we fetched for your account the same day (always within 30 days). Product details we imported from your Amazon listings when you added a watch (such as title, brand, model, and UPC) stay with that watch until you delete it or close your account. Products you uploaded yourself keep working from your uploaded reports. You can delete uploaded products from your dashboard at any time.
You are responsible for following Amazon's own policies.
4. Plans, billing, and cancelling
Plans are billed monthly through Stripe, in US dollars. The monthly price of each plan and the number of products it lets you watch are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, before you pay.
Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales, use, or similar tax. Where we are required to collect tax, we add it at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for the taxes of your own resale business. We will email you at least 30 days before any price increase applies to your plan.
Cancel any time. You can cancel online from the billing page in your dashboard, which opens our payment provider's billing portal. No call or email is needed. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then it stops and you are not charged again.
14-day refund on your first payment, no questions. If you ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment, we will refund that payment in full within 5 business days. Email [email protected] with the word "refund" and we will process it. We will not ask you to explain. Later monthly payments are not refunded, except as sections 12 and 15 say.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, your account becomes past due. You have a 3-day grace period, and alerts keep running during it. If the payment is still unpaid after 3 days, we pause your account: watches stop and no alerts are sent. Your data stays in place. Update your card in the dashboard and the account resumes.
Capacity. eBay limits how many requests we can make each day, and every customer's watches share that limit. When you choose a plan, we check whether we can serve the products you have turned on. If we cannot, we put you on a waitlist instead of sending you to checkout, so you are not charged. You can subscribe when a spot opens. After you subscribe, the same check runs whenever you turn on more products. If we are full at that time, those products stay paused until room opens, and the products already running are not affected. A plan's product limit is the most you can turn on. It is not a promise that room is free for all of them at all times.
5. Free 7-day report
You can start a free 7-day report without a credit card. During the report we watch eBay for your products and collect what we find, but we do not send Telegram alerts. At the end you see a summary of the matches we found and the estimated profit on each. eBay listing details in the report are re-checked when you open it, and listings that have ended show only that they ended. After that, nothing is charged. You only pay if you choose a plan.
One free report per business. A free report covers a limited number of products, and only a limited number of reports run at the same time. If no spot is open, or your products do not fit the eBay requests we have left, we cannot start your report until room opens.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use MarginPing to buy automatically, or connect it to any tool that places orders. MarginPing gives information. You buy on eBay yourself.
- Resell, share, forward, or publish MarginPing alerts or data to anyone outside your business.
- Create more than one account per business, or share one account between businesses.
- Watch products in categories we do not support. We block those categories in our system and will reject them.
- Break the law, eBay's rules, or Amazon's rules, or get around plan limits.
- Use eBay content shown in MarginPing to suggest what an eBay item should sell for on eBay, or to compare the performance of eBay against other services.
We can suspend or end an account that breaks this section.
7. No guarantee of profit
MarginPing is a tool. It does not promise that you will find deals, make a sale, or earn any profit. Profit figures in alerts are estimates based on Amazon fee and price data at the time we checked, or, for products you uploaded, as of the date of your upload (which the alert shows). Amazon prices, fees, and sales rank change. A match can be wrong, which is why every alert has a way to mark it wrong. You are responsible for checking a listing and the product before you buy, and for every buying and selling decision you make.
8. Alert timing
We check eBay on a schedule, not continuously. How often we check each product depends on how many products all customers are watching and on the limits eBay puts on our requests. eBay's own search can show a new listing some time after it goes live, and we cannot see a listing until eBay shows it to us. Alerts are therefore not real time. A listing may be sold, ended, or changed before you see the alert. Each alert shows when we last checked the eBay listing, and dashboard listing details are labeled with the time we last checked.
We do not promise any check interval or delivery time, and outages at eBay, Amazon, Telegram, or our hosting can delay or stop alerts. MarginPing is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no service level agreement and no uptime guarantee.
9. Your data
Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. You keep ownership of your data and permit us to use it to run the service for you. Alerts are delivered through Telegram, and Telegram's own terms apply to that delivery.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
MARGINPING IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING FOR MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST SALES, MISSED DEALS, LOST DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO MARGINPING IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT CAUSED THE CLAIM, OR 100 US DOLLARS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW TO BE LIMITED. ANY CLAIM MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER IT AROSE.
12. Termination
You can cancel your plan at any time from the dashboard, and you can close your account at any time by emailing [email protected] from your account email. We can suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if your use puts the service or our eBay or Amazon access at risk, or if we stop offering the service. If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of your current period. When an account closes, your eBay-related sublicense ends immediately, and we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 7, 10, 11, 13, and 18) survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, email us a description at [email protected] and give us 30 days to resolve it. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court. Each of us waives a jury trial.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For a material change we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the date and you will not be charged under the new terms. Using MarginPing after the effective date means you accept the update. The version and date at the top show the latest version. Changes eBay or Amazon require may take effect sooner.
15. Third-party platforms
MarginPing depends on eBay, Amazon, and Telegram. Any of them can change, limit, or end our access at any time. If alerts stop because of that, we will refund the unused part of your current month.
16. Not advice
Profit and ROI figures are estimates for information only. They are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You decide whether to buy.
17. Third-party data
Amazon and eBay data can be wrong, late, or withdrawn. We do not guarantee it.
18. Your responsibility
You will cover claims against us that come from your breach of these Terms, your breach of eBay's or Amazon's rules, or your own buying and selling decisions.
19. General terms
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at eBay, Amazon, Telegram, internet providers, hosting, or power.
- Assignment. We may transfer these Terms to a successor or affiliate, including a company formed to run MarginPing. We will tell you by email if that happens. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our written consent.
- Severability. If a part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about MarginPing.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
- Notices. We send notices to the email on your account. You send notices to [email protected].
